Crear estilos de parrafos
Para crear un nuevo estilo de párrafo primero debemos seleccionar el párrafo que va a contener el nuevo estilo, se deben cambiar todos los atributos que deseamos que contenga nuestro estilo de parrafo, en mi caso aplique una sangria en primera línea de 2p0, justificación con última línea a la izquierda, alineado con la rejilla base y fuente Calibri regular a 10/12.
Ahora debemos abrir la paleta de estilos de párrafo en el menu ventana(window)/texto y tablas/(type & tables)/estilos de parrafo(paragraph styles), o presionando la tecla F11. En la paleta de estilos de parrafo hacemos clic en la opcion Nuevo estilo de parrafo en el menu de opciones de la paleta de estilos de parrafo.
en la ventana de nuevo estilo de parrafo debemos introducir el nombre que deseamos para nuestro estilo y el atajo de teclado para poder aplicar nuestro estilo rapidamente
dentro de la paleta de estilos de parrafo ahora debe aparecer el estilo que acabamos de crear junto con el atajo de teclado que le asignamos, los comandos se pueden asignar con ctr o shift mas un numero
si queremos modificar un estilo ya creado basta con hacer doble click sobre el nombre del esilo dentro de la paleta de estilos de parrafo o bien hacer click derecho sobre el nombre del estilo y escogemos la opcion editar
enseguida nos aparecera la ventana de opciones de estilo de parrafo(paragraph style options) en la cual podemos editar todas las caracteristicas que queremos cambiar a nuestro parrafo escogiendo las opciones que tenemos en la parte izquierda de esa ventana

Cambiar unidades de medida en indesign CS3
Para cambiar la unidad de medida en indesign cs3 debemos dirigirnos al menu: Editar (Edit)/ Preferencias(preferences)/Unidades e incrementos(units & increments), o bien presionar el comando Ctr+k.
En la ventana de preferencias debemos ir al menu de unidades e incrementos(units & increments) y hay cambiar las unidades de reglas horizontal y vertical por las que deseamos, luego click al boton Aceptar(ok).
Numeración de páginas en indesign CS3
Lo primero que debemos hacer es ingresar a las páginas maestras desde la paleta de páginas (F12) o bien presionando Ctr+J e introduciendo en la ventana la letra correspondiente a nuestra página maestra.
Luego utilizando la herramienta texto (T) debemos crear una caja de texto en el lugar en el que deseamos ver nuestra numeración.
Ahora vamos al menu superior texto(type)/insertar caracter especial(insert special character)/marcadores(markers)/numeracion de página actual(Current page Number).
Dentro de la caja de texto debe aparecer la letra correspondiente a las paginas maestras que estamos trabajando.
Esta operación la debemos hacer tanto para la página Izquierda como para la página Derecha, si queremos que en algunas páginas no se aplique la numeración debemos aplicar la página ninguna(none) a dichas páginas.
